The underbelly of a caravan is one of the most overlooked areas when it comes to maintenance and repair. It cops constant exposure to road debris, stones, water, mud and UV from below, and because it's out of sight, damage often goes unnoticed until it becomes a serious problem.

A compromised underbelly allows water to track up into the floor structure, causing delamination, rot in timber components, and structural weakening that can affect the entire van. At LBM Fibreglass we inspect and repair fibreglass caravan underbellies and structural components, getting to the problem before it spreads further.

Underbelly repairs start with a proper inspection of the full underside of the van. Because damage here is often hidden or gradual, we take the time to assess the full extent of what's going on before quoting, checking for moisture, delamination, and any structural compromise in the floor and chassis surrounds.

Where the damage is surface level, we repair and seal the underbelly skin to restore weatherproofing. Where water has already penetrated into the floor structure, we address the underlying damage properly before sealing the surface. Structural repairs are carried out to restore full integrity to the affected components.
