Fibreglass body panels are common across cars, trucks, trailers and specialty vehicles, but they're not immune to damage. Impact damage, stress cracks, punctures and crushed laminate can all affect fibreglass panels over time, and depending on the severity, what looks like a minor crack can sometimes point to a larger issue with the panel underneath.

At LBM Fibreglass we repair fibreglass panels on a wide range of vehicles, from collision damage and stress cracks through to punctures, tears and full panel sections. Every repair is assessed properly so the result is structurally sound and finished to a clean, factory-style result.

Not every crack in a fibreglass panel is the same. Some are purely cosmetic and confined to the surface, while others indicate stress or movement that needs to be addressed for the repair to hold. We assess each job individually, looking at the type of damage, what's causing it, and whether there's any underlying structural concern.

Once assessed, we repair the panel using appropriate fibreglass materials, rebuilding strength where required before refinishing the surface. The goal is a repair that holds, not just a cosmetic patch that needs doing again down the track.
