A soft or cracked deck isn't just a cosmetic issue, it can indicate water ingress into the core, which if left unchecked leads to delamination, structural weakening, and significantly more involved repairs.

Deck repairs require a clear understanding of what's happening beneath the surface. A crack or soft spot on top can mean different things depending on what's going on underneath, it could be purely cosmetic, or it could indicate core saturation or delamination that needs to be addressed properly.

We start every deck repair job with a thorough assessment, tapping and probing the affected area to understand the full extent of the damage before we quote. Where core damage is present, the repair involves removing the affected section, replacing the core material, laminating back to the correct specification, and restoring the surface finish. Where the damage is surface level, we repair and restore the gelcoat to a clean, consistent finish.
